2025 Audi A6 Avant e-tron Revealed

Audi is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of the A6 Avant E-Tron, a sleek and practical addition to its portfolio. Built on the same PPE platform as the Q6 E-Tron and the new Porsche Macan, the A6 Avant E-Tron is designed to offer both performance and efficiency.

The A6 Avant E-Tron features a sophisticated design with flush door handles and split headlights, including adaptive matrix LEDs and configurable light signatures for the European market. Although these features will not be available in the United States, the car still boasts an impressive drag coefficient of 0.24, making it one of the most aerodynamic wagons on the market.

Inside, the cabin mirrors the stylish A5, featuring a 10.9-inch touchscreen for the passenger and a 14.5-inch central display. The A6 Avant E-Tron offers rear-wheel drive and Quattro options.

Audi intends to sell the A6 Sportback E-Tron in the US in three flavors: rear-wheel drive, Quattro, and the hotter S6. The base model will have 362 horsepower on tap, giving it a 0 to 60 mph sprint in an estimated 5.2 seconds and a top speed of 130 mph. Step up to the midrange model and there will be an e-motor at the front axle. Combined, output will rise to 422 hp, slashing the sprint to 4.3 seconds while retaining the top speed.
