Panackelty - Great British Grub - Tony's Comfort Kitchen

People often get Panackelty mixed up with Panhaggerty. Both are similar wartime dishes from the north of England. Panackelty hails from the northeast and although they are similar, panhaggerty has no meat in it while panackelty has some bacon and in this case, corned beef.

Ingredients
1.5kg raw potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
2 medium onions thinly sliced
250g bacon lardons (smoked or unsmoked)
2 tins of corned beef thinly sliced
250ml beef gravy (I used gravy granules and water)
250ml beef stock
Salt and pepper to taste
