RUMINATIONS: NBComics is something that continues to baffle me with the LaserBat. ProStars is already a goofy enough concept, possibly a so-bad-it’s-good kind of thing, but then you just start adding pure and utter nonsense to it, any enjoyability is drained dry.

My only real disappointment with this episode was the voiceover for “Makeover Fairy: PI.” I thought it was a funny enough concept, but in an attempt to make the audio sound better mixed with the music, I either used weird settings with my microphone or recorded it with a different microphone altogether, resulting in it just sounding weird connected with the rest of the episode. And to be fair, Yo Yogi already apparently had an established detective thing going for it in other cartoons so it wasn’t TOO far off, it’s just that I noticed what a weird trend it was in various spin-off shows that I wondered what motivated it other than a very basic storytelling engine.
