Moonga Conn (aka Moonga Godshe/Chirgean Godshe/Kaald) is a healthy recipe that combines the goodness of whole green gram, jaggery and coconut. It's quick, easy and this particular method is hassle-free making it a sweet, nourishing start to any day! Usually enjoyed at breakfast, it can also serve as an energy-booster at any time of the day :)

Ingredients (serves 4):
3/4th cup of whole Green Gram (moong), soaked overnight
1 & 1/2 cups Water to pressure cook
2 cups Hot Water; adjust as per desired consistency
75 grams (3/4th of a pyramid) of Palm jaggery, chopped
1/2 cup of freshly grated Coconut
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Cardamom powder (optional)

The 2 cups of water can be substituted for Coconut milk, if desired.
I've used Palm jaggery, but Cane jaggery works just as fine.
Adjust the sweetness to your liking by increasing/decreasing the quantity of jaggery.
Cardamom powder (optional) can be added just before turning off the heat.
