Intermittent Fasting is a diet/eating protocol that involves eating during a set 'eating window' and avoiding all calories the rest of the time. The most popular form of IF is arguably the 16:8 diet, though other options include OMAD (One Meal A Day), The Warrior Diet, 18:6 (my fave), and 5:2 AKA the Fast Diet.

In this video I break down intermittent fasting and assess whether it really works for weight loss. I also explore the other potentially impressive benefits, such as enhanced energy and productivity, as well as autophagy. Autophagy is the 'self recycling' of cells which can potentially increase longevity, prevent illness, and make you look and feel healthier.

This is part one of a two part video. In part two of this intermittent fasting series, I'll be discussing maintaining muscle mass, growth hormone, lifestyle tips, fat adapatation and much more.
