DANCE MOVEMENT THERAPY/PSYCHO-SOMATIC TECHNIQUES USED:

- Activating self-touch: helps you quickly connect to your body while stimulating blood flow and accessing your body's energy.

-Fast-paced movements: these types of movements can sometimes feel a little bit shocking, but I use them here to provoke a sudden rise in your body's energy levels and mobilize stagnant energy and release tension.

- Grounding movements: rhythm and movements that connect you to the ground help create a sense of stability and strength. All useful qualities to have when you need a motivation boost!

- Shaking and releasing movements: Shaking the body and movements of release are very useful at regulating the body and releasing tension.

- Visualization exercise: fake it until you make it! Visualization is extremely helpful in helping you embody your transformation and identify important limiting beliefs you may have. This particular exercise allows you to symbolically connect with a particular goal or desire and go through the process of actually achieving it, despite the obstacles you may face. Celebrating your achievements also helps increase your confidence and believe in your capabilities. This is especially powerful if you stay aware of any sensations, emotions, thoughts, or images that come up.
