What are Clinical Rotations like at PUMS / Polish Medical School?

A quick video that addresses the Polish/English language barrier with patients, the division of students in clinical years, benefits of training abroad, and a tad of our experience during 3rd year clerkships at PUMS in Poznań, Poland. Sorry for not posting this in June when it was recorded…it was a hectic few months with final exams, flights, electives, Step 2, OET, and visiting friends/family after over a year and a half away. 😅

Keep in mind that this is all based on personal experience and I don’t have insight on other Universities or how they function—hope this is a bit helpful for those entering their clinical years. For electives abroad, PUMS does participate in VSLO and you can obtain access from the Dean’s Office once you’ve taken and passed USMLE Step 1, however, the programs enrolled are sparse and electives abroad will require a lot of coordination on your behalf. There are tons of agencies available to assist you with this as well, though they have varying options/experiences/fees associated.
