The Sisters’ Islands is a programmatic concerto for two zhongruans and Chinese orchestra inspired by a local legend of the Sisters’ Islands south of Singapore. Composed by Wang Chenwei at age 17, this 15-minute piece won the “Singapore Composer Award” at the 2006 Singapore International Competition for Chinese Orchestra Composition.

The piece composed of: Fishing village, Capture of the Bride, Raging waves, Spirit of the Sea.

双中阮协奏曲《姐妹岛》由王辰威17岁所作，获2006年新加坡华乐国际作曲大赛“新加坡作曲家创作奖”。乐曲长15分钟，取材于新加坡岸外姐妹岛的民间传说。

《姐妹岛》为作曲家王辰威先生所作，是一部结合了渔岛，抢婚，怒涛，海魂。
