#DiwaliwithNidhi Makhana Kheer recipe / Foxnut Kheer 😋 Diwali dessert recipe 🪔 SAVE the video to try the recipe later :))
➡️ Steps :-
1) Heat 1 tbsp Ghee in a kadai
2) Add few Cashews and Almonds. Roast for a minute. Once done remove and keep aside
3) Now roast 1 cup Makhana. Once crunchy remove from flame
4) Keep some roasted Makhana and finely grind rest of the roasted ingredients
5) In the same kadai add 500 ml of Milk. Let it come to a boil
6) When milk reaches one boil, add pinch of Cardamom powder, 10-12 saffron strands soaked in Milk
7) Add the grounded mixture as well and few Raisins
8) Stir and mix very well
9) Add the reserved Makhana as well.
10) Simmer on low flame for 5 minutes. Scrap the evaporated milk solids from sides and add to kheer
11) Lastly add 1/4 cup Sugar and mix well
12) Simmer for 3 minutes
13) At this stage, Makhana softens and Milk thickens a bit. The kheer thickens more on cooling so keep the consistency according to your preference.
14) Serve and Enjoy!!😇
