50 years ago NASA was preparing to launch Apollo 11 to the Moon, but not without the help of Australian expertise.

This story looks at the role of Australia's Overseas Telecommunications Commission (OTC) including the Parkes and Honeysuckle Creek and Tidbinbilla Radio Telescope’s role in tracking and broadcasting images of the Apollo 11 moon landing mission.
