डाळीचे मिश्रण करण्यासाठी | For Dal batter
• पिवळी मूग डाळ १ कप | Yellow moong dal 1 cup
• पाणी १/४ कप |Water ¼ cup
पीठ मळण्यासाठी |For making dough
• ओवा १/२ टीस्पून |Carom seeds ½ tsp 
• मिरपूड १/२ टीस्पून | Pepper pw ½ tsp
• चिली फ्लेक्स १/२ टीस्पून | Red Chilli flakes ½ tsp
• कसुरी मेथी १ टेबलस्पून | Dry Fenugreek Leaves 1 tbsp
• मीठ चवीनुसार | Salt to taste
• हळद १/४ टीस्पून | Turmeric ¼ tsp
• तेल १ टेबलस्पून | Oil 1 tbsp
• बारीक रवा २ टेबलस्पून |Fine Semolina 2 tbsp
• गव्हाचे पीठ दीड कप (गरजेप्रमाणे )|Wheat flour 1.5 cups or as required
साटा करण्यासाठी | For Sata
• पातळ असलेले साजूक तूप २टेबल्स्पून |Soften liquid ghee or oil 2 tbsp
• तांदळाचे पीठ ३-४ टेबलस्पून | Rice flour 3-4 tbsp
• तेल तळण्यासाठी | Oil for frying

We all love to eat snacks. Snacks should be easy to make and healthy. There are loads of snacks recipes. We can make different snack recipes like chivda, wafers, shankarpali, chips, roasted makhana , etc. Today we are going to show you one healthy snack recipe which if you make once would be loved by all. We are making Moong Dal Masala Shankarpali. Though Shankarpalis are sweet, we are going to give it a twist and make them by adding masala. Very simple recipe with basic kitchen ingredients. You can give this to small kids to adults in school or office tiffin, take it while traveling or keep it as a starter in house parties as well. Let's make Moong Dal Masal Shankarpali.  

How to make Khari Shankarpali Recipe in Marathi |Kids Snacks recipe 
• Wash and soak moong dal for 2-3 hrs
• Drain out excess water from the soaked dal, take the soaked dal into a grinding jar, add ¼ cup of water and grind to fine paste
• Take the moong dal mixture into a mixing bowl, to this add carom seeds, pepper pw, chilly flakes, kasuri methi, salt to taste, turmeric & mix well
• Then add semolina, mix well & keep it for 5 mins to soak the semolina
• Then add wheat flour gradually to make tight dough
• I have used 1.5 cup you can increase or decrease the amount as per requirement
• Keep the dough aside for 10 mins
To make sata -
• Take melted ghee into a small bowl, add rice flour and mix well
To roll Shankarpara - 
• Take some dough from the ready dough, roll chapati sized and little thick roti, apply ready ghee rice flour mixture all over the roti, fold the roti as shown in the video
• Again apply some sata, and fold from other sides to make square shape
• Then apply some wheat flour, and roll it again to square shape
• Then again apply some mixture, fold to get rectangular shape & again roll as it is to get a long rectangle.
• Then cut into 1cm thin pieces as shown in the video.
• Our shankarpara are ready to fry.
• Heat oil for deep frying , once oil is med hot, turn the flame to low and fry masala shankarpali
