Fa'apapa Fa'i | Banana Bread

This is Samoan Banana bread flavour. Unlike the normal and modern banana bread this Samoan Banana Bread has a heavy and dense texture. It is made with few organic local ingredients coconut cream and overripe bananas. Flour and sugar are the only ingredient to be purchased however if the bananas are sweet enough there's no need to buy sugar. It's cooked in a traditional umu wrapped in soft banana leaves.

Suafa'i | Sweet Banana Soup

This is a Samoan dish that doesn't look too appealing at all but it has so much organic flavour and taste. It is one of the dish that we always serve for our elders young children and new mothers. It can be serve cold or hot any time of the day.

Samoan Poi | Banana Smoothy

A traditional Samoan dessert made from mashed overripe bananas mix with fresh coconut cream and lemon leaves. People do add other ingredients now accordingly to their taste for example crushed peanuts for a nice crunch etc however traditional Poi was made with very few organic ingredients and top it up with a nice citrus taste. Chill it in the fridge and enjoy!!

Fa'apapa Fa'i | Banana Bread
Ingredients

• 4 over ripe bananas mashed
• 5 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
• 1 cup of sugar
• 1 can of coconut cream

Suafa'i | Banana Sweet Soup
Ingredients

• 4 over ripe bananas mashed
• 1 cup of coconut cream
• 1/2 cup tapioca pearls/ sago
• 3 lemon leaves
• 2-3 cups of water
• Sugar if needed for sweetness

Samoan Poi | Banana Smoothy
Ingredients

• 4-5 over ripe bananas mashed
• 1 cup of coconut cream
• Lemon leaves/Lemon Rind
• 2 cups of water
• Crushed Peanuts
• Sugar (optional and according to your taste)
• Ice cubes to serve
