Welcome to your time for resting and resetting. This is almost 25 minute guided yoga nidra meditation that I have created to welcome more ease to your mind and body.

If you don’t already know, our mental habits are what tend to keep us stressed out in today’s modern world. Effective stress management has to include managing your relationship with stress-producing thoughts and yoga nidra does this by helping us learn to have a different relationship with the mind and the byproduct of the mind (our thoughts).

We have many types of thoughts that keep us stuck in stress cycles preventing peace, joy and calm and one of the ways this can show up is resistance. We resist our present moment.
Eckhart Tolle says “Stress is caused by being 'here' but wanting to be 'there'.” We resist how our present moment presents itself to us, causing unneeded stress. But when we learn to welcome in more ease into our life, we learn to be with our present moment without resistance.
