Given my own twist to besan burfis and made them healthy: trust me they taste best when they are properly roasted, to the point the colour changes…Roasted until your kitchen is filled with a beautiful aroma of cooked besan.. it smells heavenly! These taste better than normal besan burfi and you gotta try them to know what I am saying. The colour won’t change this much if you are adding sugar instead of jaggery. Jaggery darkens it more. I kinda like jaggery one better!

INGREDIENTS:
🌿3 tbsp ghee( add 2 tbsp in beginning and 1 later)
🌿 1 cup besan
🌿1 tsp flax seed powder
🌿1 tsp white sesame seeds
🌿handful of chopped almonds, cashews
🌿1 cardamom
🌿1/4 cup desiccated coconut
🌿1/3 cup water
🌿1/2 cup jaggery

Tips:
✨boil syrup 4-5 times before adding
✨roast besan and other ingredients properly on low flame
✨add ghee in batches(spoon by spoon) and not too much in one go. See if more is needed, otherwise no need
