On a recent holiday we walked from St Ives to Hayle along the South West Coast Path.

Unfortunately we couldn’t gain access to St Uny’s Church at Lelant but we have found a video by Lucas Nott showing the inside of the Church if you are interested:

We stayed in a lovely airbnb called the Bolt Hole in Hayle and here is the link if you are interested, it was very reasonable with it’s own cooking facilities which we found useful. We like to cook our own food as we find it cheaper than eating out.

Recipe for our meat free meal with vegetables and noodles:

Ingredients:
vivera plant shawarma kebab or other plant based “meat”
onions
frozen peppers
frozen peas
mushrooms
tomato puree
gravy granules

Method:

1. Fry the onions and mushrooms
2. Fry the plant based meat
3. Add the frozen peppers and peas
4. Add a blob of tomato puree
5. Make up some gravy and stir through and make sure everything is cooked.
6. Cook the noodles separately and mix in and serve
