The Riverina Hat

Named after the famed agricultural area of New South Wales, where the weather can be hot and unforgiving, the Riverina is a great hat for anyone who works outdoors. Its wide cut edge brim, measuring 102mm all round, slopes down at the front and rear, giving complete sun protection to the face and neck. The hat is unlined with three eyelets each side of the crown for ventilation.

The Riverina features a quality leather braided hat band, with brass fittings bearing the iconic Akubra name.

As with all Akubra hats, the Riverina is hand-crafted in Australia and takes six weeks to make, using traditional, old-school processes which have changed little in 140 years. Made from 100% rabbit felt fur, all Akubra hats are water resistant and offer the ultimate in sun protection.

With is wide stylish brim, the Riverina is equally popular with ladies, and wouldn’t look out of place at the County Show or Point to Point.
