This silent footage shows members of Army Battery D visiting with former president Harry S. Truman at the Truman Library in Independence, MO, November 13, 1965. Mr. Truman’s barber, Frank Spina, presents him with hair clippers. Mr. Truman was a member of Battery D during World War I.

This footage was originally recorded by local Kansas City television station KCMO-TV and donated by Tom Evans to the Truman Library. KCMO's successor, KCTV-5, is allowing the Truman Library to post this footage. Users should seek permission to use this footage from KCTV.
