45-Minute Sequence to Release Pelvic Floor Tension - Pelvic Floor Release

Releasing tension in the pelvic floor can be quite challenging due to the relative rigidity of the pelvis. In this sequence, we will utilize Yin yoga stretches that focus on the piriformis, obturator internus and adductors to reach through the connective tissue system helping to release tension.

These exercises can help with CPPS (Chronic pelvic pain syndrome), Vaginismus, Prostatitis and other pain conditions. The exercises encourage pelvic floor release which can help with hypertonicity. The full sequence is just over 40 minutes. Enjoy!
