This video covers the Dominant 7th chords (13 #9 b9 b5 #11) and the Diminished Maj7th/9/11/b13 chords within the "Octatonic/"Diminished" Scale. These are demonstrated as Ab/B/D/F Dominant and A/C/Eb/Gb Diminished 7th type chords and resolve to Db, E, G, and Bb Major or Minor.

Minor third movement is discussed at length with all chord types as well as the many various possibilities of voicings using mixture of triads with a foreign bass type chords, voice-leading techniques, and scale embellishments of all voices in the chord are covered.
