Grab your suspension trainer and a mat for this 25 minute total body strength and cardio workout. All exercises include the suspension trainer. Set your suspension trainer to mid length. One way to make the exercise more challenging will be to walk your body closer to the anchor point to increase the resistance, and vice versa (for the majority of the exercises). You can always walk it further away from the anchor point to decrease the resistance. For most exercises keep your core tight and active, especially when we are in a plank-like position. Today's format is dropsets! This just means we haver a superset with a "drop" in tensity in it. The first exercise will be a more challenging variation and will be performed for 60 seconds. After that exercise is up, we will drop the intensity of the exercise and/or switch up the exercise for another 60 seconds of work. During the "drop" we perform the first 45 seconds of the exercise with 1 to 1/4 rep tempo and the final 15 seconds with pulses. Even though we're drop setting, you'll find the tempo to be quite challenging! We have 9 dropsets today. At the very end of the workout, we have a 4:30 minute continuous core blast that will leave us feeling strong. During the core blast, there are non TRX options/modifications in the right hand given as well. This is no-repeats today, however if we perform a unilateral exercise, we will be matching on the other side. Just a reminder during today's workout: You and I do not have to go at the same speed/tempo. Find a pace/speed/weight selection that feels challenging for *you*. There is some jumping during todays workout, however non-jumping verbal options and modifications are given throughout. I hope you enjoy this one! Let me know how it goes in the comments below!
