Taking Cooking food back to basics.

Ingredients:
- 1 pound (about 450g) of your favorite sausages, boiled down, browned, sliced into rounds
- 2 pounds (about 900g) of potatoes, boiled and thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cups (about 720ml) heavy cream
- 1 cup (about 240ml) chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 cups (about 200g) grated cheese (cheddar or Gruyère works well)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon English mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 table spoon of cornflour/cornstarch for the slurry
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves or 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Butter for greasing the baking dish

oven to 380°F (190°C) 20 - 30 mins
Air fryer 360°F (180°C) 20 - 25 mins
