Xenogears - Id's Origin, Part 1 (Boss & Scenes)

The games coming to an end. But before it does, there is one last mystery remaining that has yet to be fully explained. And that is the origin of Id.

Having taken over Fei's consciousness again, Id intends to once again try to destroy the world.

During the battle against Id, Wiseman shows up to try to stop Id. Every scene you see with Fei right now is inside his own consciousness. As you found out in earlier videos, Fei has split personalities for an unknown reason. There is current Fei, Id, and what Id calls "the coward".

While inside his own consciousness, Id tries to keep Fei from finding out about his past memories that Id is blocking from him. Eventually Fei stumbles upon the real memories. He finds out that Id was "created" due to Fei forcing his mental pain onto the Id personality. This pain was caused by Fei's mother doing experiments on him. As you found out in the last video, Miang is able to take over any woman, and it just so happened Fei's mother was taken over where Miang knew Fei was who she was searching for, so she conducted experiments.

Id continues to show Fei about his past that Id has been keeping from him, up until the end where you see that Fei accidentally killed his mother back then and then blamed Id on it, which gave that original Persona the nickname "The Coward."

During all this, Id is fighting Wiseman, who is revealed to be Fei's father. Wiseman has appeared a number of times throughout the game to help Fei out when needed, so it makes sense now why he did.

The video ends with Fei finally understanding everything about Id and his original persona. Part 2 will finish the complete reveal.

I shouldn't have to really write a strategy for this, this is a pretty easy fight and hard to screw up.
