But they have a CMS case, so I'd just like to reiterate to save your grief later on that if you have a CMS case you simply can't change the arrangement, you can't have a private arrangement you have to stick with what CMS tell you to pay. That works both ways.

Okay because I what I do come across quite often is people who tell me they've had a private Arrangement and then months later CMS are chasing them for arrears because they didn't pay the amount that they were supposed to pay they underpaid then they're put on collect and play.

So just please, please, please, please, please pay what CMS tell you to pay on the day they tell you to pay it if it's wrong use the complaints process and argue to get it right if you're then subsequently overpay because they've told you to pay something and then they change it downwards, they'll just adjust the payments in future so you will get that money back but at least by doing it this way you won't get put on collect and play why do I keep on saying that play and play but anyway yeah so look as long as you pay as per the schedule they can't put you on Collect and Pay and that's the important thing because who wants to pay an extra 20% if they make a mistake obviously challenge it straight away but don't make private arrangements outside of CMS.

Okay if they send you a letter you have to stick to their payment schedule until they send you a letter that says the case is closed Again lots of instances where people pay CMS agree something with the X the X claims that they're going to close the case and the case is never closed and so their arrears are built up and then while suddenly they're hit with massive amounts of money okay maybe they gave the the original payment in kind did some work gave lots of presence do gifts to the kids on holiday things like that stuff that doesn't register as a cash payment to the EX and then later on they get stung by it, so just thought I'll make you aware that these things do happen always pay as per the schedule.

And never ever ever pay the arrears figure, as a lump sum because their rears figure is actually built into the payment schedule so as long as you're making the payments the arrears will disappear or at least they should do okay thank you for your time don't forget to like and subscribe and hopefully we'll make this CMS Journey a little bit easier for you have a good day.
