Dr Reid Oliver's Story - ATWT - Part 55

Wow, to begin with YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN TALKING!!!!!!!!!! So sorry for the wait for the new episode...It was my end of year/degree festival/ball and it's an allnight event so I was absolutely exhausted and also SO busy!
As of this week though, no more events!

Lets get down to the good stuff.... now this is MY take on it, everyone has very different opinions about Reid, Noah and especially Luke. I love to hear everyone's opinions :D That's what is so awesome about this storyline.
What is EVENMORE amazing is that a lot of long time watchers are now rooting singularly for Reid .... he does that to you I guess ;) ha!

Ok, I included a lot of the Lily and Holden stuff for a couple of reasons, firstly, it talks about Luke and Noah and naturally they're connected to Reid and secondly, it might impact Reid in the future! [I also love Holden! ;)]

That first scene was CLEARLY cut short. Grrr ATWT! It was obvious there waqs a discussion missing about them working together (hence Luke saying he had bids for him later on in the episode!)
"Poor you" ... anyone else really love the return of the biting snark? He's only been cute and snarky recently, this episode was brilliant.

The on-call room was one of my FAVOURITE scenes. I wanted to see SOME understanding from Luke and some growth. Yea he was an indecisive and stupid idiot last episode and has been for a while (but I'll always adore him!) yet this episode it seemed he realised that he had to sort himself out. Luke will always love Noah, he'll always be extremely special and will forever hold a place in his heart- we know this and it's understandable. What's not ok was Luke's behaviour last episode.

This time he appreciated he made a mistake and there was SOMe evidence of him understanding Reid and trying to put things right or at least extend the olive branch. His clearing up of their relationship was GREAT- Luke was honest and open.
The one thing to improve that scene would be SCRUBS. [haha!]
Reid is hurt. He's not impressed, not really listening and is keeping himself at a very safe distance. I don't blame him to be honest. As usual, he's got no idea how to act and so is doing his usual.

The food. Oh my the food. I seriously want to count how many times he makes reference to it throughout this entire episode. I was giggling like mad. Bless his heart when Luke offers him the invitation sigh
I thought this was incredibly sweet of Luke. He is obviously trying.
From "the edible kind" onwards, till Luke leaves, I ADORED that entire scene. Luke tries, Reid talks about food, Reid is awkward, Luke is kind nervous and then tells Reid straight and then adds his own bit of snark. Brilliant!

I completely understand Reid's actions. Knowing him the way we've grown to, we know his underlying feelings and we saw him when Luke hurt him. It's obvious why he refused and the fact he GOES to the party says a lot. He's learning and trying too. Noah in the middle is causing the problems. Hence the triangle!

Lily and Noah. That scene was so perfectly done by both of them. Jake really conveyed Noah's affection for the Snyders and his regret. It's very touching. Lily... sometimes she is so over the top with Noah... so in walks the voice of reason aka Holden. God I adore him. WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET A HOLDEN AND LUKE FATHER/SON CHAT?!

Awww hugs for Reid, he broke his fork :( Poor guy can't get a break nowadays! That godforsaken ready meal- my god it looked hideous .... definite mush!

We also get to see Luke and Noah's new dynamic. It's very very very well done. Jake looked extremely handsome, Van insanely cute and in walks Reid looking dashing. sigh It's so realistic, Noah being so close to Luke's family and having that struggle too.
The look on Luke's face when Noah finds the tie after the flashback ... they NEEDED that talk and that discussion ... a true honest and deep and meaningful discussion to clear the air and help Luke get his head together then HAHAHAHA Reid appears. Awww god I adore him.
Now it's not just the pizza guy who has lousy timing ;)
