The story of David and Goliath is a wonderful look at the “little guy” beating odds and a giant. However, it’s also an important reminder that it is God who fights our battles. With His help, anything is possible. This message considers various weapons that we might use against an enemy. Ultimately, though, we combat our “giants” with God’s Word and trust in His power and might. We don’t fight with swords and spears, but with a shield of faith!

Kristin is a servant of Christ who is blessed to currently be serving as Directory of Christian Education at Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Broomfield, CO. Originally a California native, Kristin has a master's in teaching from Biola University, as well as a master's in theology and a DCE certificate from Concordia Irvine. She spent several years in Georgia before being called to Colorado. She is overjoyed to be the mother of Samuel and wife of Colten, who also serves full-time at Risen Savior as Worship Director. In addition to enjoying her dream vocation, she also loves running, baking, music, history, and strong coffee.
