Children's Message: David Dances Before the Lord

It’s easy to get embarrassed, feel foolish, or worry about what others are thinking. These are concerns we find ourselves facing at any age. However, there’s only one opinion that should truly matter to us: God’s. The Lord wants our true and genuine worship, no matter what it looks or sounds like. This message focuses on David’s rowdy dance for God to remind children that we can praise Him in many ways, and should focus not on human judgment but on thanking God for His many blessings! (But please, keep all clothing on.)

Kristin is a servant of Christ who is blessed to currently be serving as Directory of Christian Education at Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Broomfield, CO. Originally a California native, Kristin has a master's in teaching from Biola University, as well as a master's in theology and a DCE certificate from Concordia Irvine. She spent several years in Georgia before being called to Colorado. She is overjoyed to be the mother of Samuel and wife of Colten, who also serves full-time at Risen Savior as Worship Director. In addition to enjoying her dream vocation, she also loves running, baking, music, history, and strong coffee.
