Camping / bushcraft cooking corned beef hash in Swedish army mess kit

Hi Guys,

After talking about keeping canned food for emergencies or cooking when hiking or camping to enjoy the outdoors or practicing bushcraft for SHTF situations

I thought I should actually cook something, so here's a quick and simple bargain corned beef hash, now there are various different recipes, all are good this is just an example using long shelf life canned food

The recipe is:

2 small to medium onions
400g can of corned beef
567g can of new potatoes
420g can of baked beans
seasoning

two servings, each serving is;

750kcal
4.5g salt
£1.53

Now this is high in salt, but its very cheap, high in calories and lasts for years, so get some next time you're shopping!
