This 25 minute feel good yoga flow is entirely focused on our back: beautifully awakening twists and gentle heart opening backbends. When repeated on a consistent basis these exercises focused on twists and spine awakening waves and backbends will help you release upper back tension, improve your posture, forget about back pain, gain confidence and a happy smile. At the end of this practice you will notice lightness in your upper body, openness through the chest, space across collarbones and a feeling of peace and tranquility. All thanks to simple yoga stretches and movements focused on our back: expect juicy twist, heart openers, shoulder stretches, side bends and such.

This gentle 25 minute yoga flow for all levels will be perfect for those who experience tension due to work conditions, tight muscles and lack of movement and stretching. In this gentle feel good yoga practice we will focus our attention on healthy spine movements and stretches that will target our back. Slow movements, gentle stretches and deep breathing will unlock muscular tension and release stiffness. At the end of this practice you will feel more relaxed, at ease in your own body and all the stress and worries will seem to fade away.

Twists have many benefits for our body including improved digestion, detoxifying effect, reduced back pain, healthier range of motion. Backbends strengthen our back, open our chest, lengthen our spine and improve our overall flexibility. They also help improve our posture.

All the movements and transitions in this 25 minute yoga practice are simple and effective, accessible to practitioners of all levels.

You can add this stretching routine into your regular practice (let’s say before deeper backbend flow or in combination with core exercises) or you can follow it as a separate practice after a long work day or in the morning - so it is good any time. The effect will be immediate. 25 minutes can change how you feel so do not deny yourself an opportunity to feel good.

Remember that our health depends on daily movement and physical exercise. So try to include a few simple stretches into your daily schedule. Repeat this 25 min yoga practice for upper back and shoulders as often as it feels necessary for your body and overall physical and emotional state.
