Hockey Skate Blade Alignment

Skate blade alignment: when you mention this topic, some experts know exactly what you're talking about, while from most people in the skating world you will just get a blank stare.
However, blade alignment can be a very important topic that can make or break your skating; if your skate blades aren't properly positioned on the bottom of your boot, and you blades, ankles, knees and hips can't work in unison, this can lead to pain and difficulty being able to use your edges efficiently on the ice.
In other words, if your blades aren't properly aligned, skating is way more difficult and less fun. In this video, I show you how to check for proper blade alignment, and how to fix it if it is off.
I hope that in the future every hockey shop will not just check to see if your skates are the proper size when selling you a new pair of skates, but also if the alignment needs to be adjusted.
