Helllooo everybody and come along for the ride as I birth the Marquette Golden Eagles program on NCAA 14.

In this episode, the Golden Eagles look to string together consecutive wins after upsetting a ranked Auburn team on the road last week in a game that came down to the very final play which boosted Marquette back into the Top 25. Now they host the (5-5) Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in what is our last home game before Senior Day.

The Hilltoppers boast an explosive offense headlined by West Virginia transfer Shelton Gibson at wide receiver, along with senior RB Ray Deloach. Up front, they have a surprisingly great offensive line led by Michigan transfer and All-American Kyle Bosch. Western Kentucky's offense comes out hot, scoring touchdowns on their first three drives of the game.

With the fast-paced scoring of Western Kentucky, the Marquette offense does a good job of keeping up with them as they go into halftime tied 21-21. The second half, however, would see far less scoring as both defenses adjusted extremely well as the sides traded a flurry of punts. Can the Golden Eagles find the endzone in the later stages and soar to their eighth victory of the season?

In the next episode, we'll host the #7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish as we take on a college football giant for our Year 5 Senior Day. The Fighting Irish are led by Brian Kelly and Preseason Heisman favorite QB Malik Zaire with studs all across their roster.

The Golden Eagles are going to have their hands full next week as we say goodbye to a handful of seniors from our Year 1 recruiting class. Four-year starter on the offensive line Shawn Murphy will be playing in front of the home crowd for the final time, along with standout defenders such as Jerry Jones, Mike Johnson, and Kenny Johnson, among others.
