Ingredients:

250 g pork intestine (sliced)
water for boiling
2 tbsp. oil
1 thumb ginger (Julien)
1 medium size onion (sliced)
3 gloves garlic (chopped)
1/3 cup water
1 tsp. chicken powder
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tbsp. japanese sweet sauce
slurry
1 small and red bell pepper (sliced)
1 1 tsp. sesame oil
5 g spring onions (sliced into 2 inch)

Cooking Procedures:

1. Heat pot with water. Boil the pork intestines for 5 minutes to remove the smell. Discard the water.

2. In the same pot pour water and boil the pork intestine for 40 minutes until tender then remove from the pot slice then set aside.

3. Heat wok on medium high heat pour in the oil and saute ginger, onions and garlic until aromatic.

4. Add the pork intestines and stir for 3-5 minutes then add water, chicken powder, soy sauce, chili powder, salt and black pepper. Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

5. Add sweet sauce, slurry to thicken the sauce and simmer for 1 minute.

6. Add bell pepper and stir again. Add sesame oil then turn off the stove. Put spring onions and mix..

7. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve with rice or beer and enjoy.
