Chordplay - I Love 1980s Chords

Описание к видео Chordplay - I Love 1980s Chords

Here's the next episode of Chordplay with I Love 1980s Chords.
The 1980s was an interesting time for pretty much everything surrounding music and pop culture, and while I remember spending plenty of time in arcades playing games and watching various movies and tv shows in the decade, I also remember getting an earful of various rock and pop songs on the radio and MTV. In many ways, those early years of watching and listening paved the way for me to want to play the guitar and eventually become a musician.

This lesson features a random assortment for chord-based ideas from the 1980s, including some chart-toppers and fret-climbers rock and pop hits from The Pretenders, Bryan Adams, Lita Ford, Yes, and more. There's something beneficial to gain from studying a decade of music like this, as you'll notice certain habits/trends in the various decades of recorded music. From tone changes and effect usage to various playing habits and chord/lead-based ideas through the years. In time, you'll notice some of these things popping up and appearing in music and it's a great idea to pinpoint some of these things and try them for yourself.
