The squat rack, a holy mecca of strength. It's something we all learn to use at some point in our lifting careers if not from day one. Some of us even know hot to use proper form (if you don't go over to these videos to learn how!:

Now there are limits to our abilities and with those limits comes the law of accommodation. It's a tricky law to learn but once you do you'll never workout again the same. Straight weight is good but mixing it up with bands, chaotic implements, and tempos is where the rubber meets the road. Your body gets use to the same motor patterns over a period of time tapering your gains and limiting your max potential as a lifter. So how do you combat this? Well, let's talk lifting and bands. They're a great tool to add to your tool belt for many reasons. Bands resist when stretched at the points in a lift that most lifters fail, while allowing a lifter to train through weak points. They also give the body new and different environment to grow muscle. This is the core of why bands are great to add to your workout routines on a regimented schedule.
