Persimmon Fruit Harvesting and Eating

Persimmons are my favorite fruit during this time of the year which is fall. They are becoming pretty popular is the PNW as i have seen many homes with the trees in their yard. They are very visible when all the leaves fall off and all you see are yellow and orange balls hanging from the trees. We had to harvest ours pretty early this year due to the cold weather and all the rain that we have been getting lately. They have already ripen pretty well but it would of been nice to let them still ripen on the tree for another couple of weeks and i think they would turned out really sweet and delicious.
