Growing Trovita Sweet Oranges Outdoors in South Coastal British Columbia

Описание к видео Growing Trovita Sweet Oranges Outdoors in South Coastal British Columbia

This video reports on recent successes growing Trovita sweet oranges as in-ground plantings outside in the Pacific Northwest. The growing system is identical to that already described for growing lemons and limes (see link below). A hot, full-sun south-facing wall with a glass overhang was found to provide a favourable environment to consistently produce an abundant harvest of high quality fruits. In this outdoor environment, the oranges require a significantly longer period to develop adequate sugar content and typically ripen between August and May about 18-24 months after bloom.
