#Shorts Should you be jumping and doing pounding exercises for your bone density? 🤾🏻‍♀️

😏 Well, yes and no.

Yes, jumping is really, really good for your bone density, AND muscular strength and power…all extremely important things as you age.

💥 But, I would NOT recommend that you embark on any jumping or bouncing exercises UNTIL you have established a really firm foundation of strength and joint control. 💪

If you don’t have the strength & joint stability to maintain good alignment each time you take off and land, you could be creating more damage and wear and tear in your joints. You don’t want that! 😬😬😬

✔️ MY RECOMMENDATION: Start with a really good foundation of strength training FIRST, building up your stability and control through your joints BEFORE you do any kind of jumping or bouncing…

…Do at least 3-6 months of functional strength training before jumping & pounding ever enters the routine.

Train Smart! Train Safe!
