Welcome to this Yoga Nidra for Calming the Mind.


This is a full yoga nidra practicing guiding you through all five subtle bodies with a focus on embodying calmness through all of your senses.


In this 28-minute practice, you can expect to be guided systematically into the state of yoga nidra with a Sankalpa that focuses on rewriting the beliefs and thoughts that can keep you feeling stressed and overwhelmed when your day fluctuates with daily life stressors.


Yoga nidra is an effortless guided meditation that takes you quickly into a state of deep relaxation. You will find in these deep states of relaxation the mind is subtly aware and the body has moved into a deep healing state of sleep.


Your brain waves slow down as you enter the states of rest and deep healing from dropping into your nervous system, allowing you to replenish and restore your mind, body, and soul. This practice can even rewire unhelpful habits and beliefs if desired.


Yoga nidra is more than a meditation that helps you relax. It is a powerful tool that can help you get in touch with your True Self, rewire unhelpful habits and heal the nervous system.




💤 To Prepare for Your Deep Rest During Your Yoga Nidra Practice:
✔️You will need to be in a comfortable position. Traditionally yoga nidra is practiced lying down in savasana, but if that isn’t available to you just find a position that feels good and safe for your body.
✔️Have props to support your body like bed or couch pillows, a blanket and possibly an eye covering to block out light.
✔️Affirm to yourself before starting that rest is your birthright and not something you need to earn.
