Opera On WinME (VBox)

Описание к видео Opera On WinME (VBox)

I admit. Sometimes I forget that Opera exists. This was the case even back in the day. While Opera was a very powerful and capable browser that had really great compatibility with many period-correct websites, it just struggled in the browser market. Of course, Microsoft would be a really massive part of this reason. However, Opera was not free. It was a shareware browser, and in a marketplace where people were accustomed to getting their browsers for free, regardless of whether its IE or the new Mozilla Suite; purchasing a web browser seemed foolish. However, the Opera team, even in the early days, embraced the idea of quality over quantity. Opera supports multiple windows opened at the same time, making use of the MDI guidelines (Multiple Document interface as defined on Windows by Microsoft).

Here is Opera version 4.0 running on 86Box.
