Description: In recent years, QuPath has become one of the most widely-used open-source software platforms for bioimage analysis, as well as a frequent topic of discussion on image.sc. Although originally designed to work with whole slide images, QuPath's distinctive features make it a good choice for many other applications - including fluorescence and highly-multiplexed image analysis.

Fresh from the QuPath workshop in San Diego (or still heavily jet-lagged), Pete will give a short introduction to the software, before moving on to discuss, demonstrate and explain the new features available in QuPath v0.5.0. He will also briefly cover what QuPath offers to people who think they'd rather be using something else, such as Fiji or Python, by showing how QuPath can be used in combination with other tools.
