Norfolk Southern rescues Amtrak Coast Starlight

Quite the spectacle. A Norfolk Southern AC44C6M. It’s registry : NS4111. Gross tonnage - one hundred and ninety six. Age : Indeterminate. At this moment, it’ll have the big task of taking not freight, but Amtrak passengers from Seattle to Los Angeles. This was due to the lead P42 being unsuitable for service and Amtrak Seattle not having any spare locomotives, forcing Amtrak to use a BNSF engine as a spare. For the date is August 17th, 2023, this particular freight locomotive will lead Amtrak 11, The Coast Starlight, through the San Francisco Bay Area. Follow along as the train rolls through Emeryville, Jack London Square and Fremont.
