Badlands' Piercing Eyes. Scary/Horror Story.

Throughout time, human beings have always craved stories. Tales of unbelievable feats, moral lessons, and the myths of monsters and unknown creatures continue to fascinate and scare us.

Three days after leaving for a day’s hiking trip, Maggie Wheeler was discovered by a couple on The Saddle Pass Trail. She had injuries so horrific that at first they thought she was dead. It was only on seeing her fingers flinch they realized she was alive. Maggie was airlifted to a hospital, where, on gaining consciousness she told of how she’d watched a monstrous creature kill her friends, torment her, before leaving her behind.

This is Maggie’s report of what happened to her which she told to Sheriff Southwell. In it, she claims that folklore became more than just a story—that it became her reality. This is a transcript of her statement, told in her own words of the disturbing horrors that happened to her and her friends on that fateful day in the Badlands.
