I hope you all enjoy my recipe for this traditional indian sweet. After all, how could someone go wrong with a fried dough ball soaked in a sugar syrup. Today I made a large batch for someone's event, but this recipe can be easily reduced.

Ingredients and Measurements:
For the dough balls:
6 cups milk powder
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp. all purpose flour (6 tbsp.)
1.5 tbsp. ground cardamom or elychee
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp. ghee (6 tbsp.)
1.5 cans evaporated milk (12 oz. cans)

For the sugar syrup (paag):
6 cups granulated sugar
8 cups of water
1/2 tbsp. ground cardamom or elychee
1 tbsp. lemon juice (to prevent crystallization)
