One Life to Live 1/6/1989

Randy storms onto the Fraternity Row set to tell Megan that Fred has doubled their rent and she is fired. Later on, Megan holds a press conference announcing that she’s being fired for refusing to sleep with the landlord to get the rent lowered. Randy rebuts her accusation, and Melinda invites them to go toe-to-toe on WVLE’s new show, Llanview Live to sort out the truth. Clint visits Viki in the hospital. She seems to be recuperating well and she asks to speak to the police as soon as possible. When Rafe arrives, she recounts her experience on Llantano Mountain. Viki begins to realize all the events of the previous evening were connected to the daughter she still hasn’t found. Later, Viki again has the vision of two young lovers embracing in the meadow; she realized this means the missing daughter is hers and not Niki Smith’s. At the Carriage House, Wade reads the news article about Viki’s abduction, escape, and rescue. Wade and Mari Lynn continue to argue about Christine, but the two apologize to each other for how they’ve acted.

Michael visits Gabrielle. She is clearly jealous of his wife, but Michael promises they are still a team. He asks Gabrielle to go see Tina and see if she has any information about what happened to Viki. After Michael leaves, Gabrielle fantasizes about finding Eterna and all its gold herself and cutting Michael out. At Angel Burger, Christine gets a call from Leo, and she is thrilled to know he is alive. After hanging up, Leo vows he will find whatever Michael is looking for before Michael does. Clint and Rafe go see Christine at Angel Burger and question her about her and her father’s whereabouts the night before. Once again, Wade swoops in to help Christine, much to Mari Lynn’s chagrin. Michael meets with Arthur and tells him to get out of the country, but Arthur is nervous of Viki finding and incriminating him, and goes to the hospital, posing as a doctor. As Viki sleeps, he prepares to give her an injection
