It’s usually a bit chewy and dry, but here’s how you can make jinmichae bokkeum (spicy dried squid) extra juicy and tender. Perfect with a bowl of warm rice 🍚🔥

🦑 Jinmichae Bokkeum (Spicy Korean Dried Squid)
A juicy and addictive Korean banchan made with tender dried squid coated in a spicy, sweet, and savory sauce.

Ingredients (230g squid):
2 tbsp mayo
2 tbsp mirim (or cooking wine)
3 tbsp gochujang
2 tbsp gochugaru
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp minced garlic
4 tbsp oligo syrup
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp sesame oil
Toasted sesame seeds


Quick Steps:
Soak and cut the squid → Mix with mayo + mirim → Simmer sauce → Add squid → Finish with sesame oil + seeds.
