Hello everyone! Join me for a fun Pilates abdominal workout. We will be working through the rectus abdominis, transverse abdominis and the obliques in this 15 minute class, all while practising some traditional Pilates movements. Remember to work in a neutral spine or imprint spine position here (this means: no big gaps under the lower back! For a neutral spine, press the lower back into the mat, leaving just a blueberry sized space. Or if this is too hard to hold for the duration of the exercises, please use an imprint spine position, which means pressing the whole spine into the mat), this will ensure you are turning on your core effectively and your ab workout will be worth it. Also please don't forget to breathe, it is so important and will also help you to switch on your core. See you soon! Emma x
