Barbarian Challenge, Gadsden, Alabama Full Race with a Waterfall!!

I've said before that, if you are going to travel to do a race, Indian Mud Run is a must. Well, add Barbarian Challenge to that list (which also includes F.I.T. Challenge)! It has quickly shot up on my list as one of my favorite all time races. The venue and trails are absolutely beautiful, I didn't even hate the hills (I had about 1100 ft of elevation gain), there were some creative obstacles, and THE WATERFALL! Wow, what a sight! I definitely thought it was amazing, since I said it like five times (I need a thesaurus). I can't say enough about the experience. The race staff, volunteers, and everybody involved were so incredibly nice and friendly, wanting to know what we thought. You can tell how much care went in to this race. It really does have that IMR and F.I.T. feel, a major race with a local race atmosphere. We will definitely be back for this one, that's for sure!
