And one more domino falls in our race to 0 - we broke the 79k score barrier! (under 10s total time). Turns out Lyfe can indeed beat Swift, freeing up Tess, and giving much more optimal teams for both bosses.

Katya Frostcap
Eatchel is really proving her worth this week - she's turning out to be quite handy for Lyfe (at least for now before Fenny comes out). This time I'm running her with Navigator, and using her stun to prevent Katya from going invuln. With M5 Lyfe there is just barely enough damage that you can kill with only 3 dodge attacks (Perfect logi M4 may be able to as well, but who has that at this point?).

Opener is slightly tricky - you need to trigger Lyfe skill pre-spawn (basically during the black screen while loading), then as soon as the level actually loads use the Kaguya support skill to cancel. This will still apply the Lyfe skill, but for basically zero time cost. Then for the Eatchel support skill you need to cancel the Lyfe dodge attack fast enough that you stun Katya before her invuln, but slow enough that you land enough of the damage from the dodge attack itself to kill the boss (damage is really tight with my shit logis).

Positioning matters - when going for optimal time it gets really difficult to get in range for the Eatchel stun. You need to be extremely quick on the Kaguya cancel, otherwise Lyfe will slide backwards slightly (you can't input a directional when triggerring it pre-spawn during the black screen), which will make it basically impossible to close the gap with just 2 evade attacks. Even if executed correctly, you also need to roll for a good move/teleport from Katya where she comes forwards at least a little bit (this isn't particularly baldy tho - around 50/50 chance). If you want to make this slightly less difficult, and are willing to sacrifice 0.2~0.3s you can wait on the Lyfe skill until actually spawned and then do a forwards skill into Kaguya cancel, which will give you that tiny bit extra forwards movement you need.

This is not actually the optimal comp or fastest time for IS on this boss - someone on bili has a crazy 3.3s run with Tess/Kaguya, but in terms of overall score that's suboptimal due to not having Tess available for B13 (which destroys your options there).

This run is non interesting after doing nearly identical ones for the past few patches already. But it is a good showcase of just how much time Tess saves this team (if you compare to the 9.1s run I uploaded yesterday).

This is a probably a pretty good preview of what's to come though - especially once Fenny comes out we're very likely to see IS+Fenny+Kaguya, Cherno+Tess+MX5/Enya be the dominant teams (with possibly the occasional Siris appearance).
