F-19 Stealth Fighter (Libya strike mission - cold war - elite opponents)

Mission 87 wasn't recorded as it was a simple dual photo recon Vietnam mission, no SAM radars nearby so it could be run at 350+knots at 500ft without much to worry about.

However this means there are 12 missions left in the career of 99 missions. So it's time for one last final tour. Highest risk level, strike missions, cold war, elite opponents, 3 missions for each scenario.

Mission 88, when the primary is the secondary! Primary was a terrorist camp in Tripoli and so was the secondary.

The primary is a strike with a time limit and the secondary a photo recon without limit.

The plan was to run in low but fast, detections, tracks and missile launches probably can't be avoided, arriving at Tripoli with enough time to:

- complete the secondary photo recon, still running in low and at high speed.

- kill speed, pull a 180 turn and fire a Maverick, striking the camp before the time limit expires.

It pretty much goes sort of to plan. The secondary goes off without too much trouble, but I don't switch to the primary target, so the Maverick strike seems to be registered against the secondary, despite they being the same structure. Switching to the primary, the second Maverick is ineffective and it's eventually destroyed by strafing.

Lots of missiles from both SAM sites, an area of enemy activity and enemy fighters. Down a few of them to keep the missiles being fired to manageable levels. Escape to the northwest towards the carrier with primary and secondary accomplished! The score is quite low but the strike on the 'secondary' was considered in violation of the rules of engagement.
