Vegan Sabbakki (Tapioca Pearls) Idli

Ingredients -
Nylon Sabbakki or Tapioca pearls, Idli Rava, a spoon of salt, a pinch of soda, curds.

Take a measurement cup, then in a bowl or vessel, take 2 cups or 2 small glasses of sabbakki or Tapioca, wash it twice nicely, then take 2 cups of Idli rava in a separate bowl and wash it twice nicely.
After that, mix it well, add a spoon of salt,
add a pinch of soda, then add 500 ml curd and if required add a little more to adjust the consistency of the batter and then mix it little tight like idli batter, add little water if required only, close the lid & let it soak for 6 hours.
After it's fermented well, Sabbakki (Tapioca )idli batter is ready to be steamed.

If you wish, at this time, you could add some onions, dill leaves, green chillies, and coriander leaves tempering for Masala Sabbakki (Tapioca pearls)idli as well.

Grease the idli plate & pour the batter with a small ladle with a small portion like normal Idlis, steam it for 15 minutes. After it is cooked well, it should look like pearl and soft.
