Short and sweet – she gets a bale while he forages in the veg patch; Australian magpies

She arrives and asks for a bale and of course, she gets one. Her eyeliner really shows up and she is clearly fluffyback for life. Or for now. He turned up and was foraging in the veg patch but doesn't join her. They both had to bail for some territorial defense.

She warbles at 6:04 – he's just the other side of the fence and well within earshot. You can also hear her song at 2:53 but it's faint as she's a fair way from my other camera (ie. my phone).

They often get up to shenanigans while the other is under a bale – I'm going to try and catch some of that and splice it in with bale footage when I can. As in, I'm not going to go looking for them, but when one comes to see what I'm up to or I can see one doing something odd I'll see what I can get.

I'm a bit under the weather but hopefully will get over this cold soon. Uploads may be a bit erratic for a bit.
